I have been being a member of Hong Kong St. John Ambulance since 2013. Before being a formal member, I need to be trained for around half year and had to pass the examinations. I’m not only learnt how to treat with patients but also made a lot of invaluable friends.
It is a very meaningful volunteer work because I can learn some useful first aid skills every Saturday night. For instance, I was taught the suitable procedures of performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
